Tempu Ri Capuna – Capone Fish Festival

Tempu Ri Capuna is a three-day event dedicated to the capone (dolphin fish), which is caught in abundance in the waters off San Vito Lo Capo from September through November. In collaboration with the Fishermen’s Cooperative, there will be capone tastings (Friday for dinner only; Saturday and Sunday also for lunch), and on Saturday and Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m., “Tempu ri mircatu,” featuring a public auction of the day’s catch. Every evening in Piazza Santuario, there will be concerts and shows with free admission.
