Santa Ninfa Sausage Festival — 29th Edition

The most anticipated weekend of the summer in the Belica region: Santa Ninfa celebrates its Sausage Festival, which will mark its 29th edition in 2026. Organized by the municipality in collaboration with local merchants, the festival celebrates a regional specialty, handcrafted for over a century according to local tradition, with the addition of typical flavorings such as wild fennel, Belice lemons, and Caciocavallo from Palermo. Stalls line the town’s streets, offering tastings of the sausage paired with local wine, along with ricotta, roasted meat, seasoned busiate pasta, and homemade desserts (there will also be a stall dedicated to those with celiac disease). Live music and entertainment enliven the two evenings, which conclude with fireworks. During the event, the museum complex housing the “Nino Cordio” Museum and the Museum of Emigration will be open free of charge on Saturday and Sunday.
