Mandrarossa Literary Prize — A Conversation with Concita De Gregorio
On July 25, the Temple of Hera in the Selinunte Archaeological Park will host the awards ceremony for the second edition of the Mandrarossa Literary Prize, which brings together fiction, the local region, and wine culture. Concita De Gregorio, a journalist and writer for *La Repubblica*, will chair the jury, taking over from Aldo Cazzullo. The competition features 93 books from 54 publishing houses—selected in part thanks to 37 independent bookstores—divided into five thematic sections symbolically linked to Mandrarossa wine labels. Following the ceremony, De Gregorio will present “Madre,” a theatrical performance starring Melania Petriello that explores motherhood, relationships, and identity.
