Books, Authors, and Bougainvillea — Buba Bha Presents 'The Road to Courage'

A meeting with Buba Bha, originally from The Gambia and a resident of San Vito Lo Capo for several years, who presents *La strada del coraggio* (*The Road of Courage*), the passionate and harrowing account of his journey from Africa to Italy, through the desert, Libya, and the Mediterranean. This event kicks off the “Libri, Autori e Bouganville” festival, San Vito Lo Capo’s historic literary event curated by Giacomo Pilati, which will celebrate its 27th anniversary in 2026. The event will take place at 9:30 p.m. in the Garden of Palazzo La Porta; admission is free.
