XIX Coast Cup – Beach Volleyball Tournament

Playa Beach in Castellammare lights up with beach volleyball: the Coast Cup is back Elite youth beach volleyball comes to Castellammare del Golfo. From July 1 to 4, the Peter Pan lido on Playa Beach will turn into an open-air arena for the 19th Coast Cup. The prestigious tournament, reserved for FIPAV-affiliated clubs, will see the participation of around 35 Sicilian and national teams. The event at a glance: What: 19th edition of the Coast Cup (4x4 Beach Volleyball) When: From July 1 to 4 Where: Peter Pan lido, Playa Beach (Castellammare del Golfo) Who: Over 250 accredited participants (athletes, coaches and referees) from all over Italy Born in 2005 and grown into the area's longest-running sporting event, it is organized by Nuova Polisportiva Castellammare (with technical support from APD Coast Cup Team and Kentron Volley Enna, and under the patronage of the Municipality). Mayor Giuseppe Fausto and Sports Councillor Giovanni D'Aguanno also expressed their satisfaction: "A key event for our summer, able to combine young people's sporting passion with the tourism and economic promotion of our town." The event is expected to draw hundreds of visitors among companions and fans, ready to discover the local beauty and flavours.
