'A Scurata — "Rosa's Voice"

On August 1, Villa Genna—the green space overlooking the Stagnone Nature Reserve, which has become the new natural stage for the “A Scurata” festival—will host “La vuci di Rosa,” a theatrical and musical performance written and directed by Luana Rondinelli, featuring Donatella Finocchiaro and the Musicanti di Gregorio Caimi. It is a journey through the light and shadow of Sicily, exploring the life of Rosa Balistreri and the poetry of Ignazio Buttitta. The event is part of the ninth edition of ‘A Scurata, scheduled from July 25 to September 6 under the “peri peri” format, which involves five municipalities in the province.
