68th Monte Erice Hill Climb

The Monte Erice Hill Climb is one of Sicily’s longest-running hill climb races, reaching its 68th edition in 2026. Organized by the Automobile Club Trapani, it counts toward the Italian Hill Climb Championship (CIVM), Southern Zone 2026, and attracts drivers specializing in the discipline along the route that climbs toward the medieval village of Erice. The race’s list of winners includes some of the most prestigious names in Italian hill climbs: foremost among them is Simone Faggioli, who won the 2025 edition behind the wheel of a Nova Proto NP01/4, adding yet another victory at Erice to a long string of successes over the years. Other winners of recent editions include Christian Merli and Domenico Scola. The 2026 edition is scheduled for Sunday, September 6.
